Not worth the stop

I barely received an acknowledgment when I walked in. I asked about a painting and got a dismissive answer. I left annoyed.

I stopped by hoping to find something that felt specific to Captiva, and there were plenty of options beyond generic beach decor. I especially liked the glasswork and the paintings featuring local birds and water scenes. The staff member was knowledgeable and helped me compare two prints without pushing the more expensive one. My only complaint was that checkout took a while because the wrapping supplies had to be located. Still, my purchase was packed securely, and it made the trip home without any damage. I would gladly visit again, especially if the inventory changes regularly. It was one of the more memorable shops I visited on the island.

I found an original piece that instantly reminded me of our trip. Friendly help, relaxed browsing, and careful packaging made it easy.

I wandered in while exploring Captiva and ended up staying much longer than planned. The gallery had a fun mix of colorful island art, pottery, and smaller pieces that were easy to take home. The person working gave me space to browse but answered my questions warmly. I found a beautiful print for our hallway.

I enjoyed the mix of local styles and price points. My small print was wrapped well and fits perfectly in my office.
