Fast service before mowing season

Review of 221 Outdoor Power Equipment by Dennis Aguirre · September 2, 2024

5/5

I took my zero-turn in for routine service before the grass really started growing. They changed the oil, sharpened the blades, checked the belts, and called when it was ready. The turnaround was quicker than I expected for a busy time of year. Everything was listed clearly on the paperwork, and the mower was clean when I picked it up. It cuts evenly and sounds noticeably better now. I’m very satisfied with the work and the way I was treated.

    Long wait for a part

I ordered a common mower part and was told it should arrive fairly soon. Weeks later, I still had no call and had to keep checking myself. The part eventually came in and was correct, but the lack of updates was frustrating. I would have been more understanding if someone had simply kept me informed.

    Good service, slow checkout

I found the right blades and got helpful advice, but checkout took awhile.

    Helpful from start to finish

I stopped in needing a replacement belt and wasn’t completely sure which one fit my mower. The person at the counter took time to look up the model, compare the old belt I brought in, and explain how to install the new one. Nobody acted rushed or tried to sell me extra parts. The store was organized, the price seemed fair, and I had the mower running again that afternoon. I’ll definitely come back when I need parts or service.

    Excellent help with my zero-turn

I was having trouble finding the correct deck belt for an older zero-turn, and the numbers on my old belt were barely readable. I brought in the model information and a few pictures of the deck. The person helping me patiently worked through the parts diagram and made sure the routing matched before I bought anything. He also explained where to check the tension arm for wear. The belt fit on the first try, and that extra advice helped me find a loose pulley before it caused more damage. This is the kind of practical help I don’t get from a big-box store. I’ll be returning for future maintenance parts.
