Beautiful quiet day
I stopped here on a whim and I am glad I did. It is a very serene location. You can feel the history while walking the trails. Everything is clearly labeled and easy to follow.

Beautiful Florida spot
We had a great time hiking the trails here. It is so quiet and peaceful. The history about the battle is fascinating and well presented. Definitely recommend stopping if you are nearby.

Must see for history buffs
The park is very educational and beautiful. I appreciated how much effort went into the preservation of this site. It is very peaceful and well worth the small entry fee.

Worth the visit
Nice open space with some good walking paths. It is great that they keep this preserved for everyone to see. We enjoyed the shade and the historical plaques along the loop.

Wonderful history
Loved reading about the Civil War history here. The markers make it easy to understand the troop movements. It is really well laid out and easy to navigate for any age.

Great historical site
This park is a hidden gem. Very well kept and the information provided is excellent. It is a perfect spot for a morning hike when the weather is cool. We will come back again.

Good peaceful nature walk
Everything was clean and marked well. It is not a huge park but it is worth the drive if you enjoy local history. The staff keeps the grounds looking really nice for visitors.

Absolutely worth seeing

Cool historical site
Decent size park with plenty of interesting facts. The paths are mostly flat and easy to walk. Great place for a quiet morning before the crowds get there later in the day.

Okay for a quick stop
It is a small park, probably good for a quick walk to stretch your legs. Not much else to see besides the signs and the open fields. Just average for a state park visit.

Educational and calm
Visited with my kids and we all learned a lot. The path is flat and easy to walk. It felt like stepping back in time. We spent about two hours exploring everything on site.

Excellent local park
If you like history this is a must see. The grounds are immaculately maintained. I learned so much about the battle and enjoyed the short, shaded hike through the woods.
