The tiller I rented had a broken drive belt. I had to drag it all the way back to the store and they didn't even offer a discount for the trouble it caused.

The generator I rented was a bit older and struggled to start at first. Once running, it was fine, but they should really keep up with the maintenance schedule a bit better.
