I stopped in looking for a beginner acoustic guitar and had a decent experience overall. The employee who helped me knew the differences between the models and let me play several without hovering. I appreciated that there was no pressure to buy the most expensive one. On the downside, a few guitars had old-looking strings, and the price tags were not easy to match with the instruments. It also took a while to get someone’s attention even though the store was not especially busy. I ended up purchasing a tuner and some picks, but I’m still deciding on the guitar. Good knowledge here, though the sales floor could use better organization.

    Used gear disappointment

    I bought a used effects pedal that worked in the store but started cutting out when I tried it at home. I returned to ask about it and felt like my concern was brushed aside. I understand used equipment can have issues, but I expected more help troubleshooting or discussing an exchange.
