I rented a mini excavator for a backyard project. The machine itself did the work and seemed mechanically sound, so no complaint there. My issue was the pickup process. I waited longer than expected while the paperwork and equipment inspection were sorted out, and the controls explanation felt rushed once they finally brought it around. I also had trouble getting a clear answer when I called with a question about the return time. The rate seemed reasonable and the equipment got the job done, but communication needs to be more consistent. I might use them again because the machine was reliable, although I’d confirm every detail before arriving.

I rented a plate compactor for a paver project and had no problems at all. It was clean, fueled, and ready when I arrived. The employee showed me the starting procedure and helped secure it for transport. It ran strong all afternoon, and returning it took only a few minutes. Very satisfied.

I rented a brush cutter after realizing my regular mower wasn’t going to handle the back part of my lot. The staff listened to what I was dealing with and showed me how to operate it safely before loading up. The machine started easily, cut through thick growth, and never gave me an issue. I also liked that the paperwork was simple and the expectations for return were explained up front. Friendly people, dependable equipment, and no last-minute surprises. I’d definitely use 4H again.

I used 4H Services and Rental for a weekend drainage project and had a very good experience. I explained what I was digging and the person helping me suggested a machine that was big enough without being overkill. The rental agreement was explained clearly, including the fuel and cleaning expectations. At pickup, the equipment looked maintained and started right up. I appreciated the quick rundown because I had used similar machines before but not that particular model. It performed without any trouble through wet ground and saved me days of hand work. Drop-off was organized, and there were no surprise charges afterward. I’ll rent here again for future property projects.

I rented a piece of equipment for a weekend landscaping job and expected it to be ready at pickup. Instead, I waited while they addressed an issue that should have been caught beforehand. Once I got it home, one of the functions was inconsistent, which slowed the project and had me stopping several times to troubleshoot. I called for help but didn’t get much guidance beyond basic suggestions I had already tried. The machine eventually finished the work, but not without a lot of frustration. Returning it also took longer than it should have because there was confusion over the notes on my rental. I expected better preparation and support for the amount I paid.
